Possibly—it depends on your needs. For example, a routine eye exam may be billed to your vision plan, while a diabetic eye screening or a visit for eye pain would be covered through your medical insurance.
Vision Insurance
Covers routine services like eye exams, prescription glasses, contact lenses, frames and lens upgrades.
Medical Insurance
Applies when your visit is related to eye diseases (e.g., glaucoma, macular degeneration), diabetic eye exams, eye injuries or infections, or medical symptoms like floaters, eye pain, or sudden vision changes.
Out-of-Network? We Can Still Help
If we’re not in-network with your plan, you can likely still use your benefits. Our team will provide you with the necessary documentation to submit for out-of-network reimbursement and help you maximize your coverage.
Pay with FSA or HSA Funds
